Privacy notice
Short and plain: what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do.
Who is responsible for your details
UK Rhino Roofing Ltd is the controller of the personal information you send through this website. You can contact Jon Davenport at [email protected] or on 07405 848277.
What we collect, and why
If you use the quote form or the call-back form, we collect the details you type in: your name, phone number, postcode, the job you need, and, if you choose to add them, your email address and a message. We use them only to reply to your enquiry and to give you a quote. Our lawful basis is that you asked us to get in touch, and we need your details to do so.
If you phone, message on WhatsApp or email us instead, we use the details you give in the same way.
Who sees it
Your enquiry is sent to Jon at UK Rhino Roofing. The website's form is handled by 5StarTrades, who built and look after the site. They store your enquiry on their systems so it reaches Jon, and a text message alert is sent to his phone. They act on our instructions and do not use your details for anything else. We do not sell your information or use it for marketing by third parties.
If you choose WhatsApp, your message is also handled by WhatsApp under its own privacy terms.
How long we keep it
We keep your details for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and any work that follows, and to keep proper business records. After that they are deleted.
Cookies and website statistics
This website does not use cookies and does not use advertising or social media trackers, so there is no cookie banner. We count visits to the site, and taps on the phone, WhatsApp, email and map links, with a simple counter that does not set cookies. It uses a one-way code made from your connection and browser that changes every day, so we can count how many different people visit without being able to tell who you are.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can object to how we use it. Email or call Jon and we will deal with it. If you are unhappy with how your information has been handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
